Product details

Background & context

After the crossing of the Rhine in March 1945 the German armoured force had long since been beaten numerically, but it was by no means harmless. Dug-in assault guns on the edges of villages and woods cost the American tank battalions vehicles right into the final weeks, while the Sherman drew its advantage from mass, radio and supply. It is exactly this imbalance that makes the small actions of these weeks so appealing on the table.

On the tabletop

Whoever takes the Germans has only two turretless StuG and therefore sets them up behind cover with a clear field of fire onto the approach. The American rolls up with three M4 Sherman and has to use his superior numbers to get onto the flank of one of the assault guns. The English Fury starter booklet shows you how a turn runs during your first game, the stats are on the two unit cards, and the terrain sheet and six dice are included. If you stick with it, you download the rulebook as a PDF in German, English or French and expand both sides with further boxes for Late War.
