Product details

Background & context

Many historical battles were about more than simply driving the enemy back. Attackers often had a specific aim: taking a bridge, plundering a wagon train, seizing a hill or striking down the enemy leader. The Buch der Schlachten picks up such situations. It is not a setting of its own but a toolbox of scenarios and additional rules, from which you can also build your own scenarios and campaigns.

On the tabletop

Instead of always playing the basic scenario, you use Kampf der Helden to put a game together from a huge number of combinations, or pick one of the ten battles with fresh challenges. The four legends tell a story and suit evenings agreed in advance, while the multiplayer scenarios bring three or four players to the table. In the Sagas chapter your warlord gains experience from one game to the next.
