Background & context

In 334 BC Alexander III of Macedon crossed the Hellespont to conquer the Achaemenid Persian Empire. He remained undefeated until his exhausted army refused to march further into India. After his early death his empire broke apart among his successors, the Diadochi, whose phalanxes ruled the battlefields until Romans and Parthians swept their kingdoms away.

On the tabletop

You lead the Greek Cities, Persians, Thracians, Macedonians, Indians or one of the Successor kingdoms, each faction with its own Battle Board for the SAGA dice. Mercenaries round out your warband, and the special war list cards give it targeted advantages. In the Diádokhos campaign you take over a Successor dynasty and fight for Alexander's legacy. The factions work with Ära des Hannibal, and you play it with the SAGA rulebook.
