Product details

Background & context

The Panther reached the front at Kursk in 1943, late and with teething troubles, and still became the benchmark: sloped armour, the long 7.5 cm KwK 42 and enough engine power for around 45 tonnes of combat weight. It is exactly these reserves that make the chassis a test bed in the world of Konflikt '47. The gravity field projector replaces the barrel with a gravitational pulse that does not penetrate armour but tears it apart, and reloads faster than any conventional gun.

On the tabletop

On the Panther-X the Schwerefeld Projektor sits on the more mobile and better armoured Panther chassis. In Konflikt '47 this weapon has a reasonable anti-tank capability, fires faster than a conventional gun and creates a gravity field that restricts movement. The redesigned turret gives the commander better visibility and adds a coaxial machine gun against infantry. For your Axis army you build it from a plastic Panther and the resin turret.
