Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Merchant ships were slow and cumbersome but had large holds, and that is how you need them in Black Seas: as a prize to be protected or captured. Several scenarios in the rulebook call for them, such as Blood & Plunder, where two privateer fleets fight over the cargo, or Landing Expedition, where the ships carry troops to a contested island. The box contains one large and one small vessel, and optional figureheads tell them apart.
