    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

L'Orient was an Océan-class three-decker with 118 guns, and in 1798, as flagship of the Egyptian expedition, she carried the army's leadership including General Bonaparte. In Black Seas she is the centrepiece of a French fleet for the Revolutionary Wars. With her you refight the Battle of the Nile of 1 August 1798, when Nelson attacked the French line in Aboukir Bay, or, under her earlier name Sans-Culotte, the action off Genoa in 1795. Rigging thread, sails and flags are included.
