Product details

Background & context

In the '47 conflict universe, when Italy was split in two in 1943, the flamboyant and well-trained paratroopers of the Italian army largely sided with the ENR. While some units retained their traditional airborne role, the core of the force was retrained and equipped with German Rift-Tech Falcon armour - the lighter, more agile counterpart to the Stahltruppen armour. The Falco Paracadutisti wield a combination of Italian and German Rift-Tech weaponry: the tried-and-true Italian Beretta Model 38/44 SMG for close-quarters combat, the highly effective German MG42 LMG for fire support, and Panzerfausts against enemy armoured targets. This combination makes them extremely flexible elite mobile forces, ideal for airborne shock tactics.

On the tabletop

Most Italian paratroopers sided with the ENR and fight in German Falcon armour in Konflikt '47. A squad of nine Falco paratroopers covers every range with its weapons: the Beretta 38/44 works at close range, while the MG42 delivers fire at longer distances. Against tanks, individual men carry the disposable Panzerfaust, a weapon suited to mobile troops. That makes them a fast unit that hunts armoured targets and pins down infantry.
