Background & context

In the Konflikt '47 setting Rift technology is both Germany's lead and Germany's problem: what is produced in Dresden works, but it is hungry for energy and therefore usually tied to a vehicle. The Schwerefeld Projektor was at first exactly that, a vehicle weapon. Only a compact generator trailer freed it enough to be handed to infantry formations, where it replaces the ageing PaK 40. The gravity field it projects as a by-product makes it the defensive weapon of choice: an attack across it costs time, and time is exactly what a gun needs.

On the tabletop

In Konflikt '47 the towed Schwerefeld Projektor replaces the older Pak 40 in the German heavy armoured infantry. It engages vehicles and at the same time projects a gravity field that slows enemy movement. That makes it above all a defensive weapon, best placed in cover on an approach route that tanks, walkers or infantry have to use. Three metal crew figures are included, and the gun itself is made of resin and metal.
