Product details

Background & context

Konflikt '47 keeps the Second World War turning beyond 1945: technology seeps out of the Rifts, and all the warring parties compress into a few years what would otherwise take decades. German designers fell back on the hull of the Panzer IV because it was proven, in series production and had enough reserves for experiments. The gravity-field projector is the most striking of these developments: a weapon that works with gravity pulses rather than high-explosive shells. Numbers remain small, and the effect in battle speaks for itself.

On the tabletop

The kit builds a Panzer IV Ausf. H with side skirts, which you assemble for Konflikt '47 either with the normal turret or with the resin turret of the Schwerefeld Projektor. This gravity pulse cannon is the best-known Rift weapon on the Panzer IV chassis and makes it an Axis medium tank for fighting enemy vehicles. Because the standard turret is included, you can also use the model as an ordinary Panzer IV. Only small numbers of the Pz IV-X were built.
