Product details

Background & context

Anti-tank rifles were already considered obsolete by 1942, as their rounds no longer achieved anything against the armour of medium tanks. In the world of Konflikt '47 they get a second career, because infantry in Rift-tech armour and light walkers are suddenly coming across the fields. Against targets like these, a calibre that was too weak for tanks is exactly the right size. Firer and spotter work like a classic sniper pair.

On the tabletop

An anti-tank rifle that was never meant to take on heavy vehicles finds new targets in Konflikt '47. Rifleman and spotter form a team that engages scout walkers and heavy infantry at range. Heavily armoured special units that cause havoc among ordinary troops are its prey. Place the pair in cover with a clear field of fire and leave lighter targets to your own infantry. Against real tanks you are better off with other weapons.
