Product details

Background & context

In Konflikt '47 Germany was the first nation to translate Rift technology into wearable heavy armour. The thinking behind it was sober: if you do not lose a company at every roadside ditch, you can have it attack more often. Other armies later implemented the principle more cleanly, yet the heavy infantry remained a factor to the last. A machine gun in such hands becomes a weapon that can be placed right in the line of fire.

On the tabletop

Two Schwertruppen with a light machine gun each raise the firepower of your armoured German infantry in Konflikt '47. You add them to an existing unit and give it sustained fire against enemy infantry at range. Thanks to their heavy Rift armour the gunners can stand their ground where unprotected squads would have to look for cover. Germany was one of the first nations to introduce this heavy personal armour.
