    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

French ships were known for being well built and fast, and that is what sets this Black Seas fleet apart. The box holds a resin and metal flagship of the first rate, three ships of the line, three frigates, six brigs and gunboats, and the metal parts turn them into ships such as Bucentaure, Redoutable and L'Hermione. The French special rules let your crews fire into the rigging to capture opponents rather than sink them. After the Revolution experienced officers were scarce, but you can still recreate the fleet of Trafalgar.
