Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Eduard Wagner's classic study of the Thirty Years' War describes the people, dress and lives of soldiers across 296 pages, from generals to muleteers, with drawings and explanations. It is not a rulebook but a reference work: for your Pike & Shotte armies you can see here what weapons, clothing and baggage trains looked like, and paint regiments and followers accordingly. This edition was published by Winged Hussar Publishing.
