Product details

Background & context

Caesar's Gallic Wars covers the campaigns of Gaius Julius Caesar in Gaul from 58 to 50 BC. The official Warlord classification names the Helvetian campaign, Gallic and Germanic adversaries, and Caesar's late Republican legions. The special miniature "Defend the Eagle!" refers to the landing in Britain and a Roman aquilifer spurring his comrades to attack. The supplement combines ancient army lists with one of the most famous campaigns in Roman history.

On the tabletop

Caesar's Gallic Wars follows Caesar's campaign in Gaul year by year and offers 44 Hail Caesar scenarios for all the major engagements, from the Helvetii to Alesia. Army lists cover Caesar's legions as well as the Helvetii, Belgae, Gauls, Germani and Britons, so you lead Rome or the tribes in revolt. The special figure Defend the Eagle! shows the eagle bearer of the Tenth Legion at the landing in Britain. You need the Hail Caesar rulebook to play.
