Background & context

In March 1815 Napoleon left Elba, landed in southern France and entered Paris without a fight. Against him, an Anglo-Dutch-German army under Wellington and the Prussians under Blücher gathered in Belgium. On 16 June Napoleon beat the Prussians at Ligny while Ney failed to break through against Wellington at Quatre Bras. Two days later Wellington held his ridge at Waterloo until Blücher's army struck the French flank in the afternoon.

On the tabletop

This volume lets you refight the deciding battles of the 1815 campaign in Black Powder. Its 132 pages hold army lists, troop stats, special rules and scenarios, plus background on the armies and commanders. It covers Quatre Bras and Ligny on 16 June as well as Hougoumont and the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June. The included figure leads a British Guards unit as its colour bearer. You also need the Black Powder rulebook.
