Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A Clash of Eagles by Adrian McWalter takes you through the 1812 campaign in Russia across 200 colour pages: Smolensk, Borodino, smaller actions involving Napoleon's allies and the retreat to the Berezina. The book shows how Napoleonic armies fight differently in Black Powder from earlier ones and provides stats for over a hundred troop types, plus national characteristics for France, Russia, Austria, Prussia and others. Illustrations by Peter Dennis and Johnny Shumate accompany the maps and text.
