    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm showed during World War II how vulnerable ships could be to air attacks. The Short Sunderland was an important flying boat for patrols and anti-submarine warfare. Sea-Hurricane and Fulmar types covered British fighter and carrier roles, although they were supplemented or replaced by more modern aircraft during the course of the war. This set brings the air component of British naval warfare to the tabletop.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The Royal Navy Aircraft Pack provides British air support for reconnaissance, anti-submarine warfare, and attacks on naval targets. In-game, it augments fleets with flexible range and forces opponents to make air defense decisions. The scenario assignments to the Atlantic, Mediterranean, and North Seas reflect the broad operational areas of British naval aviation.
