Product details

Background & context

Not every piece of Rift technology made it to the front, but the Ursus conversion did. Soviet laboratories bonded the Hemotype serum to the genetic material of the Siberian brown bear, and the Rift supplied the energy that made the process viable in the first place. What takes the field in small squads does not fight like infantry, but like a predator with a chain of command. Anyone who sees the bear on the uniform knows that the Soviet Union does not fear the Rift, it uses it.

On the tabletop

Six Ursus with claws form a close-combat squad for the Soviet Bloc in Konflikt '47. This fusion of man and Siberian brown bear was created as the Soviet answer to the Axis Schreckwulfen and fights in small squads at the closest quarters. Send the squad against enemy lines and let it tear through the opposing infantry. The variant with mauls adds Ursus for dealing with heavily armoured targets.
