Product details

Background & context

For the United States the three Seminole Wars between 1817 and 1858 became the longest and most expensive of all its wars against Native Americans. The Seminoles withdrew into the Everglades and the cypress swamps, where columns, artillery and supplies could not follow, and struck from there. Several US commanders saw their careers founder on this terrain. Part of the people was never subdued and remained in Florida.

On the tabletop

Pack A provides six Seminole warriors for the three wars fought in Florida up to 1858. In the Everglades and cypress swamps American columns, artillery and supplies could hardly follow, and from there the Seminoles struck. In Black Powder you therefore deploy them in dense terrain and attack from ambush. Together with pack B and the Maroons they form a larger force.
