Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

These two figures give a battalion of Portuguese Caçadores its command in Black Powder. The light troops in brown cloth skirmished ahead of the line of your British-Portuguese army, often in mixed brigades with British light infantry. Caçador means hunter, and the troops were the counterpart of the German Jäger and the French Chasseurs. Fitting games are Bussaco, the Coa or the fighting in the Pyrenees.
