Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

Three guns with twelve gunners behind gabions form a complete Portuguese battery in a field fortification. Gabions of woven willow filled with earth protected the crews from case shot and splinters, as in the Lines of Torres Vedras. In Black Powder you place the battery at a point you intend to hold and force your opponent to attack it head-on. At the same time the position serves as a piece of terrain on your table.
