Description

The piece stands around 0.2 mm proud of the rim of the base. It sounds like nothing, but it decides whether the magnetic foil touches the steel or the plastic rim rests on it and the model only holds loosely.

On the tabletop

The cut-out stands about 0.2 mm proud of the rim of an oval 75 x 42 mm hollow-bottomed base. This small projection ensures that the magnetic layer actually rests against the metal rather than just the plastic rim. Five 70 x 39 mm ovals are included, each made of magnetic sheet on hard foam. Stick them into the recess and give even large models a secure footing in the box.
