Background & context

Die Haudenosaunee, sechs Nationen zwischen Hudson und Ontariosee, hielten sich lange aus dem Streit der Kolonialmächte heraus und spielten beide Seiten gegeneinander aus. Der Covenant Chain band sie formal an Albany, doch erst William Johnson brachte Mohawk-Krieger 1755 wirklich in Zahl ins Feld, etwa bei Lake George. Andere Nationen des Bundes blieben neutral oder liefen zu den Franzosen über. Einheitlich war an dieser Allianz herzlich wenig.

On the tabletop

Figure set B adds six more metal warriors to the Iroquois, so your Haudenosaunee group can grow beyond a single pack. In Black Powder they work their way through the woods in open order towards the enemy flank. Historically they fit the Mohawk whom William Johnson led into the field at Lake George in 1755. You can just as well play them as neutral or on the French side, since the league was divided in this war.
