    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The BT-42 is a Finnish assault gun: a captured Soviet BT-7 fast tank with a tall, boxy turret and a British 4.5-inch howitzer from the First World War. Only eighteen were built. In Bolt Action you use it as fire support for Finnish infantry against positions and cover, because its howitzer proved ineffective against the T-34 at Vyborg in 1944. It is a particularly unusual vehicle for a Finnish force.
