Background & context

After the costly drop on Crete in 1941, the Wehrmacht used its Fallschirmjäger almost only on the ground - as a fire brigade at hotspots from Monte Cassino to Normandy. The cut of the jump smock and the bell-shaped helmet without a brim remained all the same. On the gaming table they are recognisable at once, even though hardly any of the soldiers depicted ever jumped from a Ju 52.

On the tabletop

This frame brings six Fallschirmjäger bodies plus plenty of weapons, heads, arms and equipment. In Bolt Action it brings half-built squads up to full strength or provides platoon commanders and spotters. After Crete in 1941 the paratroopers fought almost entirely on the ground, from Monte Cassino to Normandy, recognisable by their jump smocks and rimless helmets. Bases are available separately.
