Background & context

1840 wurden bei einer Verhandlung im Council House von San Antonio mehrere Comanche-Häuptlinge getötet. Buffalo Hump, Kriegshäuptling der Penateka, antwortete mit dem Great Raid, einem Zug quer durch Texas bis zur Hafenstadt Linnville. His-oo-san-chees, der kleine Spanier genannt, galt trotz seiner halb spanischen Herkunft als einer der geachtetsten Krieger der Gruppe. Beide stehen für die Comanche-Kriege im Texas der 1840er Jahre.

On the tabletop

Buffalo Hump and His-oo-san-chees lead your Comanche warriors in Black Powder, and each comes both on foot and mounted. That lets you field them at the head of your mounted bands or dismounted during a raid. Historically Buffalo Hump, war chief of the Penateka, answered the killing of several chiefs in San Antonio in 1840 with the Great Raid across Texas to Linnville, a campaign that works well as a series of scenarios. His-oo-san-chees carries a bow and shield.
