Product details

Background & context

The Browning M2 in .50 calibre (12.7 mm) went by the name “Ma Deuce” among the soldiers. It fired 450 to 600 rounds per minute and reached long distances, which made it valued by its crews. It was mounted on tripods, jeeps, tanks and aircraft alike. It proved itself in Normandy and in the defence of Bastogne just as much as in the Pacific.

On the tabletop

This is where the fixed firing line of your US army comes from. The M2 teams fire up to six times per weapon each turn as long as they are dug in and hard to spot from afar; when they march it is only two shots. Light vehicles take damage, while against medium and heavy tanks there is no effect. Air attacks are dangerous for the teams.
