    Product details

    Background & context

After German troops had captured American Bazookas in Tunisia, the Panzerschreck emerged from them, officially the Raketenpanzerbüchse 54. Its reusable tube fired a rocket-propelled shaped-charge grenade of 88 mm calibre that penetrated thicker armour than the Panzerfaust. Two men served the weapon, the second loading. It was used from 1943, above all in the late war years on the Eastern Front and in the West.

    On the tabletop

With the Panzerschreck every German rifle unit gains bite against tanks, as almost all Allied models lie within its reach. You field it as a unit of its own or attach one squad to an infantry formation. It is strongest in buildings and behind cover; a squad that moves cannot fire, and against enemy infantry it has no protection.
