    Product details

    Background & context

The 8.8 cm Flak 18, 36 and 37 was developed as an anti-aircraft gun and proved effective against tanks as early as Spain and France. Its long barrel gave a range and accuracy few opponents could answer. It cemented its reputation as a feared all-purpose weapon in North Africa and on the Eastern Front. The Sd.Kfz. 250 served artillery and panzergrenadier units as a light half-track.

    On the tabletop

The three 88s with their crews are brought to their place by the Sd.Kfz. 250. The gun engages aircraft, tanks and infantry alike and suits blocking positions as well as supporting an advance. Using the battery involves the artillery add-on rules for the Simple Rules, which you can access online with your purchase.
