Product details

Background & context

When Germany attacked the Soviet Union in 1941, its Panzer III met T-34 and KV-1 tanks whose armour and guns came as a surprise. The Tiger I appeared on the Eastern Front from late summer 1942, meant to restore German superiority with its 8.8 cm gun. Fighting in villages and cities, from Stalingrad to Kursk, left behind ruined walls like the ones this set provides as terrain.

On the tabletop

The Soviet side builds a tank group of three T-34 and three KV-1, accompanied by one infantry unit. The German side answers with two Tiger I and three Panzer III. Two sets of ruined walls give cover on the table, and the introductory booklet on the Eastern Front holds four scenarios for your first games. Play follows the Brickskrieg Simple Rules.
