    Product details

    Background & context

The Panzer IV was the most-built German tank and served from 1939 to the end of the war, latterly with a long 7.5 cm gun. The British Churchill joined the army from 1941 as an infantry tank, noted for its thick armour and its ability to climb steep ground. Infantry on both sides received their own anti-tank weapons: the German Panzerschreck rocket launcher from 1943 and the British PIAT, a spring-driven projector firing a hollow-charge bomb.

    On the tabletop

The box makes two small armies for your first battle. The German side fields three Panzer IV, two units of panzergrenadiers, two command bases and three Panzerschreck bases, while the British answer with three Churchill, two infantry units, two command bases and three PIAT bases. The tanks carry the fight, and the Panzerschreck and PIAT are the infantry anti-tank weapons. Dice, a tape measure and quick-start rules are included, and the rules are also available as a PDF download.
