Product details

Background & context

American forces made extensive use of mortars, artillery observation and supporting fire in the Second World War. Bolt Action represents indirect fire with a zeroing-in mechanic that can be tracked over several turns. Zeroing In markers make these targets clearly visible. The accessory is a game aid, but it suits US armies with mortars, howitzers or artillery observers particularly well.

On the tabletop

Mortars, howitzers and artillery observers are part of many American armies in Bolt Action. The two MDF markers in the US Army design show both players which point a gun has currently ranged in on. On crowded tables you can follow over several turns which fire mission belongs where.
