    Product details

    Background & context

The figure of the zombie comes from Haitian folk religion, where it described a person robbed of their will. Through travel accounts and films of the 1930s it entered Western entertainment, and from 1968 cinema shaped today's image of the walking dead. Weird War scenarios combine such figures with historical settings, for example a trench in 1916 or a Normandy village in 1944. The troops, uniforms and places of history remain the framework of the game.

    On the tabletop

Choose the heads to match your scenario: Roman soldiers, Vikings, pirates, Napoleonic British and French, cowboys or soldiers of both world wars. This gives you a group of zombies that fits the period of your other figures. The spare arms also fit other historical bodies, so you can turn individual soldiers of your army. On the table the figures act as slow but numerous opponents closing in on a position from several directions.
