Product details

Background & context

AK Interactive's RC Markers range brings the felt-tip principle to the modelling hobby: quick, clean and with no airbrush at all. This set brings together tyre and running gear colours and is aimed particularly at beginners and at experienced modellers who want to lay in individual details quickly. For whole models the markers are no substitute for classic brush or airbrush painting, but as a tool for details and basecoats they make life a good deal easier.

On the tabletop

These three markers are meant for wheels, the rubber parts of tracks and small accessories. Rubber Black colours tyres and rubber rims, Flat Black goes into deep areas of the running gear, and Dark Aluminium is for spots where bare metal should show. The acrylic paint grips plastic, resin and metal. Afterwards you can add dust and dirt with oils or pigments without lifting the paint.
