Description

The camouflage patterns of the Waffen-SS rely on a few closely related tones. Ochre, two browns and two greens over an almost black brown are enough to keep plane tree, oak leaf and pea dot patterns readable even at small size.

Product details

On the tabletop

The six shades in this set are for camouflage smocks, helmet covers and shelter quarters on German Second World War figures, as worn by the Waffen-SS. The patterns consist of a few closely related colours. Lay down a base such as Pale Brown or Fern Green, add patches of Camouflage Dark Green and Light Brown, and dot small spots of Orange Ochre and Camouflage Black Brown. On small-scale figures a few patches are enough.
