    Hintergrund & Einordnung

    The Universal Carrier was a light, tracked British carrier and was used in large numbers by British and Commonwealth units in World War II. It replaced several earlier carrier types with a versatile standard vehicle and served, among other things, as a transporter for personnel, equipment, and support weapons. Its roles ranged from machine gun or mortar carrier, artillery observation, and radio vehicle to special variants such as flamethrowers. Its high production numbers and wide variety of roles made it one of the defining light tracked vehicles of Allied armies.

    Einsatz im Spiel

    The 12mm Universal Carriers offer many build options for Commonwealth forces in Epic Battles. In-game, they can represent transport, MMG support, mortar carriers, anti-tank carriers, or observation/FOO roles. The desert and European crew options make them usable across multiple theatres.
