    Product details

    Background & context

The Tiger I appeared in 1942 and was used on several fronts, including North Africa, the Eastern Front, Italy, and Western Europe. Its 8.8cm gun and strong armor made it a formidable heavy tank. At the same time, it was expensive, maintenance-intensive, and available in relatively small numbers. Its reputation had a great impact on the perception of German armored weapons.

    On the tabletop

Six Tiger Is in 12 mm make a heavy tank company for every front from 1942 to 1945. The 8.8 cm gun penetrates any Allied tank at long range, and the thick armour absorbs a lot of punishment. In games you place the Tiger with a clear field of fire and let the enemy come, since it is slow and vulnerable to flank attacks. Accompanying infantry keeps tank hunters away, and the decal sheet with red numbers is included.
