On the tabletop

Thinner Medium thins acrylic paints such as Model Color without the paint losing its binder. Unlike plain water, adhesion is preserved and the paint flows more evenly from the brush. That lets you apply thin coats and glazes that do not dry patchy. You also gain a little time to blend transitions. Add the medium drop by drop on the palette.
