Background & context

AK Interactive offers not only paints but also the right tools. This set specializes in weathering: the shapes are precisely matched to streaking, stippling, and wash techniques and complement the manufacturer's enamel and pigment ranges.

On the tabletop

Each of the five brushes is tailored to one weathering technique. Use the angled AKB010 to work effects into hard-to-reach corners and add wear, and the comb-shaped AKB011 to draw parallel streaks. The filbert AKB015 blends layers of paint without hard edges. AKB018 holds plenty of paint yet still draws fine lines, and you stipple the cone-shaped AKB019 vertically for irregular effects with oils.
