    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

In August 1938 No. 19 Squadron at Duxford became the first unit to receive the Spitfire, and one of its aircraft is among the three marking options in this kit. Alternatively you can build a training aircraft from Egypt or the French Spitfire that fell into Axis hands at Orléans-Bricy. The 149 parts make an early Mk.I in 1:48 scale. In your collection it marks the starting point of Spitfire development.
