    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

The same Type 1936A destroyer twice in 1:400: one kit becomes the Kriegsmarine's Z31, the other the French Navy's Marceau as she appeared in 1947. The decals provide the markings for both ships, and base paints, a brush and cement come with this starter version. Z31 was launched in Bremen in 1941 and served in the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic. After the war she passed via Britain to France and served there under the hull number D601. Side by side, the models show one ship in two navies.
