Product details

Background & context

The Sherman was no wonder tank but a mass-produced article, and that was exactly where its strength lay. Over 55,000 vehicles of all versions came off the lines, along with spare parts, recovery equipment and trained crews at the same rate. Where a loss tore a gap on the German side, a new Sherman stood ready the next morning. The type first saw action in Italy in 1943, and after that it served on every front.

On the tabletop

With acrylic paints, brush and glue in the box you build the M4 Sherman in 1:72 scale without buying anything else. More than 55,000 vehicles of all versions were built; its first action was in Italy in 1943, after which it served on every front. The version in this kit shows it at the time of the Normandy landings. Finished, it goes into your cabinet or onto a 20 mm gaming table as a Western Allied tank.
