Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

With nine heavy guns in three triple turrets, Scharnhorst was a commerce raider of the Kriegsmarine until the Duke of York caught and sank her off the North Cape in December 1943. This 1:600 kit consists of 159 parts, and the instructions give one paint scheme. At 38.5 cm she fits alongside HMS Belfast from the same range, which also took part in that battle. That way you can gradually rebuild the Arctic action for your display cabinet.
