    Product details

    Background & context

    On the tabletop

On the night before D-Day, American paratroopers came down over Sainte-Mère-Eglise, and the town was free shortly afterwards. This 1:72 box provides a GMC CCKW 353, a 1/4 ton truck with trailer and 48 figures: US paratroopers and German Panzergrenadiers. Use the figures for the fighting in the village and the vehicles for the supply columns that afterwards carried ammunition and fuel forward from the beaches. Two instruction sheets and decals for two vehicle schemes are supplied; paints and glue have to be bought separately.
