Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

A fort with gate and garrison is built from 119 parts in 1:76, about 23 cm wide and just over 10 cm high when finished. Bases like this secured every advance in Britain after the landing under Claudius, and from them the Romans built their roads and kept watch on the tribes. In a diorama you can post the legionaries on the wall or at the gate, with a road in front showing the supply traffic. In games on the tabletop the camp becomes the target of an attack by the Britons.
