Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The RAF's fast rescue launches pulled downed airmen out of the English Channel, and the 63 ft Type Two can be recognised by the curved deck that earned it the name Whaleback. In this 1:72 kit with 155 parts you choose between a marking from 1941 and one from 1944, when the boats were painted grey and armed. The completed model measures 266 mm. In the same scale it fits a coastal diorama with pilots in the water or a gaming table with boats and figures in 1:72.
