Product details

Background & context

On the tabletop

The 40 foot soldiers in Median dress represent the infantry of the Achaemenid Empire, from the Persian and Median core to contingents from the satrapies. Archers shoot at range, spearmen hold the front, and kopis and sagaris serve in close combat. With the various heads and leaders you can field troops of several peoples or the Immortals. Opponents are Greek hoplites or later Alexander's army, and your force relies mainly on its missile weapons.
