    Product details

    Background & context

The Panzer IV Ausf. H was one of the most important late variants of the German standard tank. It typically featured stronger protective measures such as schürzen and a long 7.5cm cannon. The Panzer IV remained in service from 1939 to 1945 and was common in many German units. The Ausf. H is closely associated with the battles of the middle and late war years.

    On the tabletop

The six Panzer IV Ausf. Hs in 12 mm carry skirts on hull and turret and the long 7.5 cm gun, the way the tank reached the front in its largest numbers from 1943. The skirts were meant to set off shaped charges from PIAT and bazooka early, so it holds up better against infantry anti-tank weapons. In games it fights tanks and supports your grenadiers with high-explosive rounds. A decal sheet is included.
