Product details

Background & context

The Panzer IV Ausf. F marked the transition from early to more heavily armored variants of the Panzer IV family. Vehicles of this type were used from 1940 to 1945 on the Western Front, Eastern Front, in North Africa, and in Italy. The series remained particularly important due to its adaptability. Later versions received more powerful long-barreled armament.

On the tabletop

With six Panzer IV Ausf. Fs in 12 mm you field German tanks for the desert, the Eastern Front up to Moscow or Italy. The short 7.5 cm gun is mainly meant for high-explosive rounds, so in games you use it against bunkers, MG nests and infantry. Against enemy tanks you need tank destroyers or later versions with the long barrel. A decal sheet with crosses and black and white numbers is included.
