    Product details

    Background & context

The Panther Ausf. G was a late and important variant of the Panther series. It combined sloped armor with the long 7.5cm L/70 gun. The design was influenced by experiences with the T-34 and was considered very dangerous at long range. At the same time, the Panther remained maintenance-intensive.

    On the tabletop

Six Panther Ausf. Gs in 12 mm make a full German tank detachment for 1944 and 1945. The long 7.5 cm gun and steeply sloped frontal armour give the Panther the edge in long-range duels. In games you therefore position it so the enemy has to come at it head-on, and you protect its flanks. The decal sheet with crosses and red numbers is included.
